Yves "Jack" Jacques Motte

On the evening of January 19, 2020, Mr. Yves Jacques “Jack” Motte, passed away at the Cranberry House in Newland with his family by his side. Born on July 28, 1942 in St. Maur Des Fosses, France, he was the son of the late Jacelyne Margverite Lemaine Bievet.

A United States Army veteran, Jack retired from Ethan Allen Furniture Company, where he could practice his love of woodworking. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years, Judy Motte; two sons, Chuck Rollenhagen and Stan Rollenhagen, and two daughters, Dee Dee Marie Hawkins, and Jacylene M. Strube. He also leaves behind five siblings, Jackie Mesa, Sue Wilber, Lydia Mangen, Harry Chitty, and Ricky Chitty; as well as five grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren.

A celebration of Jacks life will be held at a later date.
