William Harry Wright

     William “Bill” Harry Wright, 67, of Marion passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at Asheville Specialty Hospital.

     Bill was born in Hesperia, MI, on June 8, 1956, to the late Harry W. Wright and the late Audrey Wolcott Wright. Bill enjoyed hunting with his friends Larry Stevens and Mike Young. He especially enjoyed Turkey hunting. Bill was a loving husband and father, who had a great sense of humor. He will be missed by friends and family.

     He is preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Susan, Linda and Ruth.

     Left to cherish his memory are his wife Karen Owenby Wright; his two children, Abby Pittman (Darren) and Benjamin Wright (Robin); two grandchildren, Audra Pittman and Dylan Pittman; one sister, Bonnie Fairchild (Joe); two brothers, Rick Wright (Barbara) and Joey Wright (Lorna), all of Hesperia, Michigan; and his beloved fur babies, Coco and Bella.

     A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at 1075 Lake Tahoma Road, Marion, NC 28752.
