William "Bill" Norris Geouge

William “Bill” Norris Geouge, 81, of Kernersville, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, March 06, 2022 at Carolina Caring Hospice in Newton.

A native of McDowell County, Bill was born on May 11, 1940 to the late Bryan Onie Geouge and Annie Mae Stamey Geouge.

Bill retired from Lockheed Martin. Prior to that, he spent many years working in the service department at Osborne Oldsmobile in Hendersonville. Bill served in the US Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Kernersville.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Barron Geouge; three children, Erich Geouge, Chris Geouge, and Amanda Geouge Hoilman; three stepchildren, Michael Murphy, Patrick Murphy, and Pamela Murphy Helms; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and three siblings, Hershel Geouge, Martha Hill, and Cynthia Davis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
