Walter W. Workman, age 89, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 05, 2020 while at Autumn Care of Marion. The son of the late Claude and Nellie Lewis Workman, he was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on August 09, 1931.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, Ellis, Bill, Roy, Raymond, Harold and Lewis.
Walter is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Betty Long Workman; and one son, Terry Workman and his wife, Elaine.
A private graveside service will be held at McDowell Memorial Park.
