Wade Monroe Noblitt, 82, of Knoxville, Tennessee, formally of Old Fort, North Carolina, passed away on December 25, 2023. Dementia took his body, but Jesus has his soul. Wade was the son of Ralph and Bonnie Crisp Noblitt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Harrison Noblitt.
Left behind to remember Wade’s happy spirit and his contagious laugh are his wife, Judy V. Noblitt, of Knoxville, Tennessee; his two daughters of Marion, North Carolina, Teresa Noblitt Proctor (John) and Denise Noblitt Freeman (Jerry); his step children, Philip Hatcher, of Knoxville and Sammi Chafin (Garland), of Bristol, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Caleb Parker, Jeremy Freeman (Jordan), Ethan Freeman (Tuccoa) and Brittni Chafin-Jenkins (Ethan); four great grandchildren, Easton and Enslee Freeman and Remi and Hattie Freeman. Also, Wade leaves behind three sisters, Geraldine Revis (Billy), Lanie Hendley (Max) and Lisa Noblitt; one brother, Howard Noblitt (Clarice); along with several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Jeff Burchette officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Cherry Springs Memorial Park, after the service.
