Wade Harding

Wade Harding, age 78, of Nebo, North Carolina passed away on the morning of Monday, July 16, 2018 at Deer Park Health & Rehab in Nebo.  A native of McDowell County, North Carolina, born June 23, 1940, he was the son of the late Charles Harding and Margaret Williams Mace.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Chris Harding; and one sister, Bonnie Louise Effler.

Wade, who had worked for Broyhill for 6 years and Drexel Heritage for 17 years, enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He is survived by one son, Johnny Harding; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Josh Hayes officiating.  Interment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
