Vivian Darlene Burleson Hall

Vivian Darlene Burleson Hall, 66, of Marion, departed to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.

She was born in Mitchell County on May 31, 1958 to the late Robert Jay Burleson and Lucille Alma Forbes Burleson.

Vivian was a woman of great faith. She spent countless hours studying the Word of God, which was something that she truly enjoyed. She was a longtime, faithful member of Hankins Baptist Church. She loved her church family. She was the owner and operator of Vivian’s Hair Salon for a number of years. It brought her great joy to spend quality time with her grandchildren, especially at the beach. Vivian enjoyed shopping, and she took great pride in decorating her home. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Rev. Ken Burleson and Robert Burleson, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James William Hall; two daughters, Kasie Hall Patterson (Jason) and April Dawn Hall Morgan (Vincent); four grandchildren, Saige Patterson, Gracie Patterson, Charlotte Morgan, and William Morgan; and four siblings, Marilyn Hill, Barbara Anderson, Jimmy Burleson (Joyce), and Phyllis Parker.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hankins Baptist Church.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Hankins Baptist Church with Pastor Danny White and Pastor T-Jay Addison officiating. Burial will follow at Halltown Cemetery.
