Victor Baron Conley

Victor Baron Conley, 61, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 11, 2023 at his home.

He was born May 23, 1961 to the late Vance Conley, Jr. and Doris Borders Conley.

Victor was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked in several manufacturing plants over the years and finished his career in the furniture industry. Victor was an honest and kind man who always had a joke ready to share with his family and friends to make them laugh. He enjoyed collecting movies which he enjoyed watching often.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Borders.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Tasha Martin; four grandchildren; five siblings, Gwendolyn Williams, Gloria Boyce (Larry), Bernard Borders (Estella), Anita Largent, and Jonathan Borders (Melvolyn); aunts and uncle, Annette Carson, Jean Conley, and James Conley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including a special cousin, Mary Garrison.

The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church, 75 Zion Road, Marion, NC 28752. Rev. Mary Scott will officiate the service. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior, from 12:30 until 1:00 p.m.
