Tyler Isaiah Epley, sixteen months, of Connelly Springs, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Carolinas Medical Center’s Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte in his loving mother’s arms. The son of Destiny Jade Geidel and Zach of the home, he was born on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
A life so full of smiles, laughs, and tiny pitter patter cut to short, no doubt. In his passing, he was a tiny hero donating his heart valves to two other infants so that they may live. His spirit will live on forever in our hearts.
Left to cherish Tyler’s memories, in addition to his parents, are maternal grandparents, Mikki and Lee Carswell and Ralph Geidel; great grandparents, Fonda and Michael Ford, and Jodi and Bill Bannister; aunts and uncles, Jessica, Eli, Landon, Cody, Reid, Alex, and Patricia; great aunt and uncle, Kelsey and Ryan Walker and their son, Dean; and numerous cousins.
Tyler was preceded in death by his PaPa RaRa & PaPa Geidel.
A celebration of Tyler’ life will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Praise Assembly of God in Glen Alpine with Pastor Kevin Crawford officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in Tyler’s memory are asked to consider, Praise Assembly of God, 873 US Route 70, Morganton, North Carolina 28655 (www.lifeatpraise.org) and/or Ronald McDonald House – Charlotte, 1613 East Morehead Street, Charlotte, North Carolina 28207 (www.rmhofcharlotte.org).
