Troy Everidge

Mr. Troy Everidge, age 73, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away at his residence on the morning of Thursday, August 31, 2017.  Born in Knott County, Kentucky on January 12, 1944, he was the son of the late William and Nancy Amburgey Everidge. 

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Troy retired from the North Carolina Department of Corrections where he served as a Correctional Officer.  In his spare time, he loved to listen to music and was able to play almost any instrument.  Troy was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church of Marion. 

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Karen Everidge, who was the love of his life, three daughters, Susan Klabel (Paul), of Arkansas, Ashley Harrison (Richard), of Tennessee; and Lynn Bristol (Craig) of Nebo; four siblings, Sam Everage (Jennifer), of Indiana, Linda Farley (Keith), of Shelby, Cuba Morrison, of Ohio; and Brenda Gay Newman (Tom), of Whitesburg, Kentucky.  He is also survived by a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service to honor the life of Troy will be held on Sunday, September 03, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Harold Davis officiating.  Military honors will be provided by the United States Army. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
