Traci Wilson Loftis

Traci Wilson Loftis, 50, of Marion, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

She was born in Burke County on August 17, 1973 to the late Clifton Theodore Wilson and Shirley Jean Ingle Wilson. Traci was also preceded in death by her daughter, Chloe Grace Loftis; and a special friend, Gordon Cook.

Traci worked as an LPN for many years. She spent most of her career caring for patients with dementia. Traci attended First Presbyterian Church in Asheville and enjoyed going to church. She had a special place in her heart for children and animals. Traci enjoyed traveling, spending time in the outdoors, and going to concerts. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Loftis; four siblings, Michael Dean Wilson (Virginia), Darrell Ray Wilson, Tina Alisa Johnson, and Tammy Wilson Saylor; four nieces, Samantha Jean Gordon, Savannah Lynn Saylor, Madonna Barrier, and Anna Wilson Ledford; three nephews, Danny Lee Wilson, Travis Dean Wilson, and Jeremy Wilson; and special family members and caretakers, Doris Robinson and Terri Edwards.

Services will be planned at a later date.
