Tim Walston

Tim Wayne Walston, 87, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation where he had been a resident for the last several years.

He was a native of Wilson, North Carolina and was born on October 22, 1935 to the late Arthur Lee Walston and Minnie Irene Grimsley Walston. Tim worked in maintenance for several local manufacturing plants. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Walston; son, Paul “Butch” Walston; and several siblings.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Hensley and Janet Gaut (Bill); eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda and Debbie.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
