Tim Clay Ledford

Tim Clay Ledford, 56, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital.

He was born in McDowell County on August 07, 1964 to Rev. Clay Ledford and the late Helen Buchanan Ledford.

Tim was employed at Baxter Healthcare, and he enjoyed watching sports. He was an avid fan of the Carolina Tarheels. A very humble man, Tim was a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother. Above all, he loved the Lord Jesus Christ. He previously worked as an insurance agent for Farm Bureau and Horace Mann.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a son, Joshua Clay Ledford.

He is survived by, in addition to his father, his daughter, Adriane Ledford; step-daughter, Courtney Wilson; two grandchildren, Brooklyn and Bayli; two brothers, Rev. Jim Ledford (Jewel), who was his twin, and Sean Ledford (Pam); and nieces and nephews, Tonya Alexander (John), Whitney Early (Adrian), Jacob Ledford (Ashley), and Ethan Ledford.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Beam Funeral Service from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Mission Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Donald Justice officiating.
