Tim Adams

Tim Adams, age 70, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 09, 2016, following a brief illness while at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  Born in Warren County, Virginia on December 20, 1945, he was the son of the late Harvey and Jane Russell Adams. 

An avid hunter and fisherman, Tim enjoyed being outdoors, but most of all; he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, David Adams.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years, Barbara Adams; two daughters, Kim Lewis and Elizabeth Adams; and his five loving grandchildren, Trey Lewis, Alex Lewis, Katie Vassey, Andrew Vassey and Caleb Vassey.

The family will have a time of remembrance on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Adams’ home. In keeping with Tim’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
