Ted Snyder

Ted Snyder, aged 88, entered Gloryland on November 2, 2023.

He was born March 30, 1935 to the late Dall and Minnie Snyder from Cane Creek, North Carolina. He was married to his sweetheart, Margie Teague Snyder, for 67 years. Together they built a home. He worked as a dump truck driver and long-haul truck driver for 30 years, and he traveled to 49 states. He was an avid camper and enjoyed spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Pauline; four brothers, James, Mack, Ed, and GR; eldest son, David; and grandson, CJ.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by three sons, Danny, Douglas (Kathleen), and Donald (Lisa); six grandkids, Rhian, Chris, Erica (Adam), Katie (Dalton), Derek, and Dakota; as well as eleven great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.

He was a faithful member of Hicks Chapel Baptist Church where he served on the building committee.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Hicks Chapel Baptist Church with Pastors Mark Hollifield, Chad Wise, and Allen Laws officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.
