Tammy Wall Owensby

Tammy Leigh Wall Owensby of Marion, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, September 12, 2022.

Tammy was born in McDowell County to the late Warren Joseph Wall and the late Erina Bellani Wall on February 10, 1959. Tammy was known as a giving person who had a contagious smile that would light up the room. She spent many years in the family business “Little Siena” which was her passion. She was also employed at Collins and Aikman for 24 years. Tammy was known as a loving Mother, Sister and Nona. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Tammy was preceded in death along with her parents by a grandson, Ryker Hank Lipps.

Those who are left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Tasha N. Conner (Wayne Elliott) and Morgan Hartwell Lipps (Michael Lipps); a sister, Diane Gainey (Millard); three brothers, Harold Wall, Jerry Wall (Christine) and Chris Wall (Pam); a special cousin Diana “Willy” Marinetti who she thought of as a sister; five grandchildren, Zoe, Siena, Riley, Drake and Willow along with a multitude of friends that she thought of as family.

A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Community Church on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 4:00 pm with the Rev. Jerry Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the church.
