Sylvia Jane Reep

December 12, 1946 — January 23, 2019

 

Sylvia Jane Reep, age 72, of Morganton, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Autumn Care of Drexel.  The daughter of the late Samuel and Hilda Johnson Reep, she was born in Burke County, North Carolina on December 12, 1946. 

 

A member of Gethsemane Freewill Baptist Church in Marion, she was known to be a “go getter”.  An avid jewelry collector, Sylvia loved to shop and meeting different people, but most of all, she loved her sons and family. 

 

Left to cherish her precious memories are her two sons, Todd Davis and Ken Berry and his fiancé, Heather Lambert; three brothers, Bob Reep and his wife, Wanda, Ralph Reep and his wife, Betty and Ronald Reep and his wife Joyce; two grandchildren, Isis Berry and James Davis; and a number of nieces and nephews.

 

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. at Gethsemane Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Ralph Reep and Pastor Ronald Reep officiating.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
