Sylvia Janell Effler

Sylvia Janell Harris Effler, age 61, of Old Fort, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. A native of Buncombe County, Sylvia was born on June 13, 1957 to the late Joe and Nellie Greene Harris.

Sylvia was a loving mother, sister and grandmother, who will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are two children, Melinda Allison and Robbie Effler (Nova); four siblings, Pauline Wills, Joe Ben Harris, Glenda Brown and Annette Allison. Also surviving Sylvia are three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith, Erika Effler and Kaden Allison.

In keeping with Sylvia's wishes, no services are planned at this time.
