Steven Wayne Clark

Steven Wayne Clark, age 67, of Nebo, North Carolina passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 at Deer Park Health & Rehab.

Steven was born November 24, 1951 in Caldwell County, NC to the late Wayne Goodman Clark and Mary Elizabeth Huffman Clark.  Prior to his illness, he was the former plant manager at Barnhardt Manufacturing Company in Hickory, NC.  He was a classic Ford Mustang enthusiast.  He also was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Patti Denise Clark.

Those left behind to cherish Steven’s memory are two children Amy Crotts of Greenville, SC and Michael Wayne Clark of Lenoir, NC and their families; three siblings, Melanie Byrd, Roger Dale Clark and Kimberly Burgess and their families; five grandchildren, Austin and Erin Crotts, Ethan, Logan and Teegan Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Safe Harbor Baptist Church, 4726 Mt. Olive Church Road, Morganton, NC 28655.

In lieu of flowers, monetary gift donations will be accepted on behalf of Deer Park Health & Rehab Activities Department by Melanie Byrd, 3562 East Homestead Lane, Morganton, NC 28655.
