Steve Molchan

Steve Molchan, age 82, of Morganton, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation in Nebo.  A native of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, born March 09, 1934, he was the son of the late John and Mary Zvolensky Molchan. 

A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Steve was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was an avid book reader.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two granddaughters, Alyssa McClurg and Isabella Ledford.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Linda Molchan; five children, Dorothy Molchan, Melissa Vallini, Steven Vallini, Paul Ledford and Betty Jean Wheeler; five siblings, Joe Molchan, Terri Cunningham, Barbara Robins, Pattie Gamrap and Bernice Maurer.  He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
