Stephen Daniel Hyatt, Sr.

 Stephen Daniel Hyatt, Sr., 61, of Old Fort, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville. 

 Stephen was born in Middlesex County, NJ, on October 21, 1963, to the late Thomas Theodore Hyatt, Sr. and Marlene Mary Phillips Sneed. Stephen loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar. He enjoyed cooking, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, and watching western movies and TV shows. Most of all, Stephen loved his family, dearly. He will always be remembered for his joyful personality and his great sense of humor. 

 In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by two sisters, Susie DeFazio and Sandra Delfino.

 Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Nicole Brown (Aaron); a son, Stephen Hyatt, Jr.; a brother, Thomas Theodore Hyatt, Jr.; his step mother, Patricia Nyatt; a sister, Tammy Albright; five grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, Payton, A.J., and Harleigh; an uncle, Larry Hyatt (Elena); three aunts, Trissy Christy, Penny Gibson, and Jo-Rhetta Hyatt; and three nephews, Thomas Hyatt, III, Mark Shawiak, and Ben Shawiak. 

 A memorial service will be held at a later date.
