Stefanie Erin Vaughn

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 12, 2017, Stefanie Erin Davis Vaughn, age 34, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at the SECU Hospice House in Forest City.  The daughter of Gary Davis of Marion and the late Delaine Davis, Stefanie was born in Buncombe County, North Carolina on March 22, 1983.

Stefanie, who loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews, enjoyed singing when she was able.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Allen Vaughn of the home; father and stepmother, Gary and Betty Davis of Marion; siblings, Melanie Davis of Marion, Adam Davis of Marion, Shawn Laws and his wife, Trish of Nebo; and Heather Laws and her husband, Chuck of Nebo.  A number of nieces and nephews also survive. 

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain Creek Independent Baptist Church on Bethel Church Road in Marion with Rev. Scotty Calloway officiating.  The family will have a time of fellowship following the service at the church. 

A private interment will be held at Valley View Cemetery in Old Fort.
