Shirley Kay Duckworth Sellars

Shirley Kay Duckworth Sellars, 68, of Campobello, South Carolina and formerly of McDowell County, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

She was born in Burke County on October 01, 1952 to the late Paul Duckworth and Lena Duncan Ollis. A granddaughter, Rylee Rhyne, also precedes her in death.

A loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Shirley enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and tending to her plants. Her canine companion, Brighton, was very special to her.

Those left to cherish her memories are her two children, Rachel R. Clark (Gary) and Jeremy Sellars (Chrystal); seven grandchildren, Paige, John, Amber, Jacob, Gabriel, Justice, and Trinity; seven great grandchildren; five sisters, Brenda Kelley (Jimmy), Sandra Farris (Keith), Barbara Rodriguez (Rod), Christine Dodson (Dean); Elizabeth Surrett; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
