Shirley Kaye Miller

Kaye Mills Miller, born on November 2, 1954, in Rutherford County, departed this life on January 17, 2025, in Mission Hospital McDowell. Kaye was the loving wife of Larry Dean Miller for 51 years and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Larry; her mother, Shirley Mills; her daughter, Keisha Miller Hastings, and her husband Mark; her brothers, Warren Mills and his wife Elaine, and Pete Mills; her sister, Tammy Wylie, and her husband Mark. Kaye's legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Kaitlin Miller and her fiancé Greg Bradburn, Victoria Miller, Trevor Miller, Marcus Hastings, and Eli Hastings, as well as her great-grandchildren, Travis and Azalea.

Kaye was predeceased by her father, Talmadge Mills, and her son, Travis Miller.

Kaye enjoyed quilting and candy making, often sharing these passions with her family. She found immeasurable joy in spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.  

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM, both at Harvest Time Baptist Church, located at 50 Franklin Ave, Marion, NC 28752.

Kaye Mills Miller will be profoundly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a testament to love, devotion, and unwavering grace.
