Sherry Jean Ward Sheehan

Sherry Jean Cabe Ward Sheehan, age 66, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital.

Born in Wallace, North Carolina on July 07, 1954, she was born to the late Mildred Jenkins Cabe.

She was formerly employed at Marion Manufacturing, and later in life, she worked as a hairdresser for over 25 years. She loved gardening, cooking, and her three cats.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her first husband, J.D. Ward; her second husband, James Sheehan; and two siblings, Michael Cabe and Linda Cabe Medford.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Marlene Ward Russ; her granddaughter, Alexandria Russ; and two sisters, Sandy Lyle (Jeff) and Debbie Estes (Steve).

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 03, 2020 in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 to 2:00. Interment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.
