Sherron Rae Beaty

Sherron Rae Platt Beaty, 68, of Nebo entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Sherron passed away at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

Sherron was born in McDowell County on February 26, 1955 to Robert Platt and Vera Louise McKinney who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Kay Robinette.

She enjoyed watching Nebo Crossing services online. One of her favorite things to do was antiquing. She was a devoted mother of four who loved her children above everything. Sherron had a lot of love to give which she also bestowed on her grandchildren and her pit bull, Gangster.

Left to cherish her memory include her four children, Timmy Beaty (Sara), Jimmy Beaty (Cristy), Travis Beaty (Stephanie) and Robert McNeely (Amber); brothers, Robin Colon (Dorothy) and David Bermudez (Linda); sister, Cindy Harris (Chubby) along with eleven grandchildren, one great granddaughter and two great grandchildren on the way.
