Shannon Lee Hughes

Shannon Lee Hughes, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at her home.

She was born to Darrell and Tammy Hughes.

Shannon loved going to church as well as singing, playing the piano, and watching tv. She enjoyed visiting with her family and talking with them, especially her granddaughter. Shannon had a heart for children, and she took care of them from an early age on throughout the rest of her life.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Caleb Hughes, Adreanna Furr, and Dawson Speagle; her granddaughter, Ashiana Jones and one on the way; and two sisters, Darlene Hughes and Crystal Hughes.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and the details will be announced once finalized.
