Samuel Britton Snyder

     Samuel Britton Snyder, 68, of Marion, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at his residence.

     Mr. Snyder was born in Spruce Pine, NC to the late Britton Snyder and Tola Cook Snyder. He was married to the late Pamela Louann Snyder, who passed away in 2021. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict and retired after many years of dedicated service. Mr. Snyder was a member of the Pentecostals of Spartanburg. He loved the Lord and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

     Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Vanessa Snyder of Kodak, TN and Dr. Telena Woody (Paul) of Spartanburg, SC; a brother, Randy Snyder (Keith) of Spruce Pine; three grandchildren, Britt, Chloe, and Sophia; and two step grandchildren, Jace and John-Calix.

     The family will receive friends at the Woody residence in Spartanburg.
