On the night of Sunday, May 03, 2020, shortly after coming into this world, Samuel James Cook, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving parents, Gary and Dawn Ledford Cook of the Woodlawn Community.
Although for a brief moment, Samuel touched many hearts. âAnd said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.â ~ Job 1:21
In addition to his parents, Samuel is survived by his three sisters, Charity Cook, Hannah Cook and Jennie Cook; paternal grandfather, Keith Cook and wife his wife, Anne; paternal grandmother, Debbie Hooser and her husband, Rick; maternal grandmother, Debbie Perkins; paternal great grandmother, Jennie âVâ Cook; paternal great grandmother, Hazel Callahan; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 08, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service in Marion with Rev. Dennis Autrey and Rev. Bart Deyton officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
