Samuel Earl Buchanan

Samuel Earl Buchanan, age 56, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the McDowell Hospital. The son of the late Rillis and Edith Evans Buchanan, he was born May 16, 1960.

Sammy was predeceased by his wife Carol Rose Buchanan.

A loving father, brother and uncle, Sammy will be missed by a son, Curtis Buchanan; two brothers, Ray Buchanan and wife Kathy of Morganton and Bobby Dean Buchanan of Lenoir.

A celebration to honor Sammy’s life will be private and held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sammy’s memory to The National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016.
