Samantha Wacaster

Samantha Radford Wacaster, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away at her residence on the evening of Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the age of 47.  The daughter of Wanda Radford Jones of Rogersville, Tennessee and the late Norman Radford, she was born in Greenville, South Carolina on February 17, 1970.

A member of Faith Mission Baptist Church in Nebo, Samantha loved her family, especially her precious grandchildren.  One of her greatest pleasures was taking care of her family. 

In addition to her mother, Wanda Jones and her husband, Bill, she is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Mike Wacaster; four children, Coty Shuffler and his wife, Brittany, Samantha Owenby, Cassi Collins and her husband, Josh, and Joshua Wacaster; four siblings, Allen Radford and his wife, Angie, Tammy Ledford and her husband, Ray, Robbie Radford and his wife, Amanda, and Mary Long and her husband, Danny.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Malaya Shuffler, Payton Guinn, Briley Guinn, Caylee Collins, Kylie Collins, Jace Collins, Amaya Hernandez and Mason Wacaster; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Wacaster will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Mission Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Ledford and Pastor Tony Shirley officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
