Sally Kaye Smith

Sally Kaye Moore Smith, age 73, of Marion, North Carolina passed away peacefully Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation.

Sally was born February 5, 1945 in Yancey County, NC to Truly Bailey Bowman of Denton, NC and to the late James Moore.  She was a loving grandmother and very devoted to her family.

In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her son, Donnie McKinney.

In addition to her Mother, those left behind to cherish Sally’s memories are three sons, John McKinney (Anna), Robert Riddle (Paula) and Billy Riddle; four beloved grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother; and one sister.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Beam Funeral Service.  A memorial service to celebrate Sally’s life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Perry Jones officiating.
