Ruby Geneva Hall

On Friday, June 23, 2017, Ruby Geneva Hall, 92, departed this world peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ.

Ruby was the daughter of the late Wade Hampton Hall and Dora Belle Morrow Hall.  She was the 11th of 12 children and was the last remaining of her siblings.  Ruby loved gospel music and loved to share God’s word by giving away CD’s.

Ruby was known for her unconditional love and constant prayers for her family and friends.  Ruby never met a stranger and had a beautiful loving spirit.  Always smiling and never missed an opportunity to share a good joke. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 74 years, Carl Thomas Hall; three sons, Tom (Judy) of Rutherfordton, Larry (Shirley) of Greenville, SC; and Kenny Hall of Nebo; two daughters, Deborah Laughridge of Glenwood; and Susan Davis of Marion.  Ruby is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and her special pet, “Lady”.

A celebration of Ruby’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Alan Sailors officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
