Roy Eldridge Brewer

Roy “Red Roy” Eldridge Brewer, age 66, of Marion, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina.

Mr. Brewer was born February 26, 1952 in Rogersville, TN to the late Clinton and Bonnie Brewer.  He retired from the US Marine Corp and owned/operated Chamad Warehouse.  His passion was motorcycles and he especially enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was well loved and many looked up to him as a big brother.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Left behind to cherish Mr. Brewer’s memories are his wife of forty-four years, Mary Willis Brewer; two children, Daniel Brewer (April) and Michelle Reed (Wesley); six grandchildren, Dillion, Sabrina, Junior “Daniel”, Caleb, Isaiah and Amya Brewer; two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Apollo Brewer; five siblings, Darlene Hicks (Marion), Joe Brewer (Nancy), Marie Gallion (David), Robbie Brewer and Susie Mauk (Tom); and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Beam Funeral Service.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the funeral home with Preacher Coy Wheeler officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Brewer Family Cemetery.
