Ronnie Beam

Ronnie Lee Beam, 70, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Morganton Long Term Care surrounded by his loved ones. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 12, at Beam Funeral Home.

Ronnie always found time to help others, whether it was something as simple as changing an electrical outlet to braving the winter cold to play chauffer for a loved one, and never once accepted nor asked for anything in return. He loved his children more than anything, he attended every one of Colby’s basketball games, sat in the ocean waves for hours with Bridget and made sure they had nary a want growing up.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Colby and Christy Beam; daughter, Bridget Beam; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobbie and LaNell Beam, David and Debbie Beam; sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Hank Taylor; and many extended family members.
