Ronald Steven Lee

     Ronald Steven Lee, 72, of Old Fort, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at Carolina Caring Hospice in Newton.

     Ronald was born in Rutherford County, NC on February 12, 1950, to the late Clyde Jasper Lee and Mattie Kay Hicks Lee. He was an outdoorsman with a green thumb who enjoyed planting and arranging flowers. Ronald enjoyed working on cars and woodworking, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

     In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by a son, William Steven Lee; and two brothers, James Edward Lee and Larry Eugene Lee.

     Survivors include five children, Tamela Lee, Melissa Sigmon (David), Sharon Henderson (Chuck), Michael Lee, and Christopher Lee; a sister, Jean Manning (Fred); a brother, Wade Lee (Deana); eleven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

     A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Snow Hill Cemetery.
