Ronald Clair Burnheimer

Mr. Ronald Clair Burnheimer, age 73, of Marion, North Carolina passed away at CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville, North Carolina with his loving family by his side. Born in Indiana Pennsylvania, on February 24, 1946, he was the son of the late Logan John Burnheimer and Mary Mildred Fields Burnheimer.

 

Ron was known for his passion for cars. He faithfully served the Ford Motor Company for over 30 years as a mechanical engineer. After retirement he continued his passion for cars in his later years. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and exceptional grandfather who will be missed tremendously.

 

Preceding Ron in death in addition to his parents, are two sisters and two brothers in law.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 54 years, Lana Beth Burnheimer, of the home; two children, Kevin Burnheimer, of Marion, North Carolina, and Julie Bare (Scott), of Garner, North Carolina, and one sister, Ilene Blose (John), of Pennsylvania. Also left behind are his two precious grandchildren, Madison and Jackson Bare.

 

A funeral service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019, in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Bruce Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at McDowell Memorial Park.
