Roger Lee Nelson

Roger Lee Nelson, age 60, passed away at his residence on April 5, 2018. Roger was born in Tiffin, Ohio on November 29, 1957 to the late Arthur Lee Nelson and Evelyn Cable Monroe.

Roger was well known for his stone masonry and tile work. He loved his dogs, the pond, fishing and poetry.  He enjoyed making pies for friends and family. Roger was one who truly never met a stranger; if you were around him long he would be reciting poetry and sharing stories filled with praise of others.  He had a huge heart for all critters.

Roger leaves behind his wife, Louise Brown; two brothers, Joel Nelson and Mark Nelson, one sister, Lesa Silver (Allen); and nieces, Lyndsay Gragg and Casee Nelson. Also surviving Roger are his beloved pets, two dogs Audrey and Noelle and one cat Pogo. All will miss him forever.

A gathering of family and friends will take place Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service.
