Robert Edgar Williams

Robert Edgar Williams, age 86, of Marion, NC passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation.

Mr. Williams was born January 23, 1932 in McDowell County, NC to the late Russell Ross Williams and Jessie Barr Williams.  He retired from Drexel Heritage.  He enjoyed gardening and grew some beautiful flowers.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Innotti Williams; one brother, Toodlum Williams; and one sister, Mary Catherine Williams.

Left behind to cherish Mr. Williams’ memories are two children, Robert D. Williams and Donna Stanton; five grandchildren, Wendy Bartlett and husband, Shannon, Timmy Caraway, Tommy Caraway, Chris Anglin and Jason Williams; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley Williams and Josephine Revis.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory.  A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
