Robert Lee Silver

On the afternoon of Thursday, March 19, 2020, Mr. Robert Lee Silver, age 68 of Nebo, passed away at the Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory. The son of the late J. Lee Silver, and Dorothy Minerva Patton Silver, he was born in Burke County on July 02, 1951.

A man who loved to have a good time and have fun with his friends, Robert had a special love for the guitar. When he was able, he attended Pinnacle United Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, are his two brothers Tom Silver and Donald Silver.

Left to cherish his memories are his three siblings, Debra Silver, Larry Silver (Becky), and Beverly Anderson (Mark), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
