Robert Bruce Schemke

On the night of Wednesday, January 12, 2022, Robert Bruce Schemke of Marion, North Carolina passed away at Memorial Campus in Asheville. He was born on April 4, 1953 in Lexington, Michigan to the late Robert and Louise Banyai Schemke.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Jennie Schemke, Roberta Krajenke and one brother, Christopher Schemke.

Robert was the owner/operator of “Memory Lanes” auto body shop for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting. He was a good man, but was set in his ways.

Left to cherish his memories are his companion, Beverly Wilson; three children, Tammy Palazzolo, Tonya Schemke and Robbie Schemke; two sisters, Debbie Schemke and Katherine Schemke and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
