Robert Burns Presnell

Robert “Bobby” Burns Presnell, age 50, of Nebo, North Carolina passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at his residence. Born on October 27, 1967 in Weisbaden, Germany he is the son of the late Arnold Burns Presnell and Lillian Parkins Presnell.

Bobby’s great love was playing the guitar. He also enjoyed fishing, reading and the outdoors.

In addition to his mother Lillian, Bobby is survived by two children, Brittany Wheeler (Aaron), and Danner Gouge (Chasity); one brother, David Presnell; and one sister, Elaine Waters (Eric).

A funeral service to celebrate Bobby’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Dean Owenby, Mr. Bobby Hollifield and Mr. David Presnell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place following the service at McDowell Memorial Park.
