Robert "Bob" Leonard Williams

Robert “Bob” Leonard Williams, age 75, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, January 03, 2017 at his residence.  A loving father, grandfather and brother, Bob was born in Danbury, Connecticut on March 04, 1941.  Known to many as “pops” and to be a jokester, he was loved by many. 

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Gerri Williams, who passed away in 2007; two sons, David Dale Williams and James Andrew Williams; one grandson, Shawn Joshua Dean Williams; one great-grandson, Aiden Ryder Williams; one brother, Ralph Williams; and one daughter-in-law, Lori Lowe. 

Bob is survived by two daughters, Holly Trumble and her fiancé, Daniel Sutherland and Leta Nunley and her husband, Daniel, of Morristown, Tennessee; one son, Burnie Lowe; one brother, Joe Williams; one sister, Jenny Williams; nine grandchildren, Shonthea Williams, Johnathan Williams, Patrick Trumble, Tacy Zanna Pruitt, Dakota Cheyenne Tipton, Cameron Smith, McKayla Nunley, Evie Smith,  and Jessica Lowery; eight great-grandchildren, Lindsey Maynor, Payton Lawrence, Ceira Lawrence, Bentley Lawrence, Riley Williams, Ansley Williams, Delilah Williams and Stephen Pruitt.  He is also survived by special friends, Rev. Henry and Dana Lowery.  

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service in Marion with the Rev. Henry Lowery officiating. A private interment will be held in Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
