Richard Keith Robinson

Richard "Ricky" Keith Robinson, 64, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at his residence, with his loving family by his side.

Ricky was born in Surry County, North Carolina on December 12, 1957 to the late Floyd James Robinson and the late Geneva Thomas Robinson. He loved to fish and enjoyed going to car shows especially to see the classic cars.  Ricky loved his family and being with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by a brother, Edward Robinson and a nephew, Simon Elliott.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Linda Robinson; a daughter, Shelly Ricketts (Adam); a brother, Floyd Robinson Jr. (Annette); a sister, Janice Elliott; a special sister, Sue Simmons; three grandchildren, Valerie Ricketts, Madeline Ricketts, and Autumn Ricketts all of Marion; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2022 in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service in Marion with Pastor Lawrence Westall officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
