Richard "Rick" Allen Rhymer

Richard Allen Rhymer, age 67, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer, on Wednesday, April 07, 2021.

He was born in McDowell County on March 08, 1954, to the late James R. and Nannie V. Rhymer.

He is survived by a special friend and care taker Peggy Davis; one son, Gregory “Snapper” Rhymer (Joanne); two grandsons, Connor & Lucas, of Marion and one sister, Susie Rhymer, also of Marion.

He loved with all his heart, as if they were his own, Barbara Fields & Alivia, of Marion; Bridgette, Jay & Jayda Sellers, of Sylva; Morgan Lipps, Riley, Drake & Willow, of Marion; Tasha Ennis & Zoe, of Marion.
