Richard A. Garcia

Mr. Richard A. Garcia, age 80 of Marion, North Carolina, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 15, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born on October, 23, 1939 to the late Manuel Garcia and Emelia Apa Garcia.

Richard having been a devout Catholic, was a former Lions Club member, and obtained a  BS in accounting from Indiana University. He worked towards his MBA from Xavier University, and was a member of the chamber for the Hickory Nut Gorge Community.

Preceding Richard in death, in addition to his parents, are one son, Richard Garcia Jr., a brother, Joseph Garcia, and a sister Emilia Garcia.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Shirley Ann Lyon Garcia, and one daughter Carolina A. Garcia.
