Reyna Mar

Reyna Mar, age 24, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.  Reyna, a native of McDowell County, North Carolina was born on March 25, 1996.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marcelina Mar, who passed away September 24, 2020. 

A loving mother, daughter and friend to all, her bright smile could light up any room that she walked into.  Reyna’s laugh was contagious and beautiful. Having been super adventurous, she loved being out in nature.  It meant the world to Reyna spending time with her family.  Although her journey was cut short, she was loved by and will be missed by many. 

She is survived by her precious son, Angel Sanchez Mar; her father, Pablo Mar; one brother, Samuel Santes Mar; two nieces, Sadia Santes and Stephanie Santes; two nephews, Samuel Santes, Jr. and Juan Santes; and her boyfriend, Jonathan Adkins.

A celebration of Reyna’s life will be held on Friday, December 04, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Moises Sauza officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.

eyna Mar, de 24 años, de Marion, Carolina del Norte, falleció inesperadamente el sábado 28 de noviembre de 2020 en el Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital en Asheville, Carolina del Norte. Reyna, oriunda del condado de McDowell, Carolina del Norte, nació el 25 de marzo de 1996.

Le precedió en la muerte su madre, Marcelina Mar, quien falleció el 24 de septiembre de 2020.

Una madre amorosa, hija y amiga para todos, su brillante sonrisa podría iluminar cualquier habitación a la que entrara. La risa de Reyna fue contagiosa y hermosa. Después de haber sido súper aventurera, le encantaba estar en la naturaleza. Para Reyna significaba muchísimo pasar tiempo con su familia. Aunque su viaje fue truncado, muchos la querían y la extrañarán.

Le sobreviven su precioso hijo, Ángel Sánchez Mar; su padre, Pablo Mar; un hermano, Samuel Santes Mar; dos sobrinas, Sadia Santes y Stephanie Santes; dos sobrinos, Samuel Santes, Jr. y Juan Santes; y su novio, Jonathan Adkins.

Una celebración de la vida de Reyna se llevará a cabo el viernes 4 de diciembre de 2020 a las 3:00 p.m. en el funeral de la Capilla de Beam con el pastor Moises Sauza oficiando. La familia recibirá amigos a partir de las 14:00 horas. hasta las 15:00 horas, antes del servicio, en la funeraria.
