Rebecca Ross

Rebecca Franklin Ross, age 61, loving mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 09, 2017 at the SECU Hospice House in Forest City.  The daughter of the late Brown and Eula Dayton Franklin, she was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on June 26, 1956.  She is also preceded in death by one brother, Terry Franklin.

A strong fighter who had survived cancer twice, Rebecca enjoyed sitting on her front porch reading and coloring. 

Miss Rebecca is survived by two daughters, Ryan Smith and Jordan Ross; three brothers, Daniel Franklin and his wife Betty, Dale Franklin and his wife Kay, and Allen Franklin; one sister Kay Cogar and her husband John; and three grandchildren, Calli Anderson, Jacob Anderson and Haven Briggs.
