Rebecca Deal

Rebecca Faulkner Deal, age 66, of Nebo, North Carolina passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Rebecca was born May 31, 1952 in Lincoln County, NC to the late Hubert and Evelyn Hester Faulkner.  Prior to becoming ill, she worked as a plant manager for Thorneberg in Lincolnton, NC.  In her spare time, she enjoyed repairing antique dolls.  Rebecca was genuinely a good person and she never met a stranger.   She will forever be missed by those who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Helen Denton.

Left behind to cherish Rebecca’s memories are her beloved husband of 34 years, David Deal; her father-in-law, Conley Deal and wife, Carolyn of Claremont, NC; and her loyal canine companions, Lady and Bobby.

A private memorial service will be held at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Claremont, NC at a later date.
