Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Harris Robinson

Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Harris Robinson, 57, of Lenoir, North Carolina, and formerly of Old Fort, passed away Thursday, February 03, 2022 at Caldwell UNC Health Care.

She was born in Buncombe County on November 07, 1964 to Carroll Harris and Barbara Rickman Harris.

Becky was a Registered Nurse, having obtained her degree from McDowell Technical Community College. She worked as a Unit Supervisor with Mission, and she was very gifted in her career. Becky will be remembered as a very quick-witted, creative, and straightforward lady who was not disliked by anyone. She had a maternal spirit about her and was looked up to as a mother by many. Becky enjoyed canning and gardening as well as homesteading with her husband. She made the best sweet potato casserole and macaroni and cheese.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Marty Robinson; two children, CJ Robinson and Billie Smith (Caleb); three grandchildren, Montgomery Plemmons, Garrett Helms, and Trinity Helms; and two brothers, Chuck Harris (Sally) and Kirby Harris (Michelle).

A service to celebrate Becky’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 09, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Tom Bartlett officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
